


Both resources are available in print, digital, and audiobook versions. Michael has published How to Write Well, a self-help book to assist aspiring writers in improving their craft and Jesus and Dirt: A Fresh Look at the Parable of the Sower, a bible study resource for small groups and pastors. He has also served as an association Sunday School Director, Association VBS Director, Area Crusade Outreach Leader, National VBS Training Team Member for LifeWay Christian Resources in 2007-2008, TN Baptist VBS Training Team Member in 2005, 2007, 2008, MS Baptist VBS Training Team Member in 2008, as well as a writer for numerous VBS and Adult Sunday School resources for LifeWay Christian Resources. Michael’s experience in vocational Christian ministry includes serving as youth pastor, assistant pastor, minister of missions, education, & evangelism, and senior pastor at churches in Mississippi and Tennessee from 1993-2013. He holds degrees from Union University and Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary, both in his home state of Tennessee. Since 2005, he has written, edited, and contributed to numerous bible study materials, college subject matter, blogs, websites, fiction, poetry, and nonfiction works.
